Hello again citizens of the Canuck Newsgroup

Hello again citizens of the Canuck Newsgroup.  As we near the start of the far too long regular NHL season, I have done some housecleaning for our web site.

Of course I had to do the annual cleaning of the Room.  It is surprising what can be found under the couch cushions and behind the liquor cabinet.  Stale moldy pork rinds?  For sure.  Lots of them.  However, I also found broken hearts, broken faith and broken beliefs.

I also had to tidy up the Hall of Fame.  I congratulate Grand Mal, Jesus, Juandesooka, Keith Keller, Vaughnmarshall2000 and Victor on their inaugural posts in the hall.  SS with one and Spiral with two, are also deserving of congratulations with their additions to their exhibits.

Spiral's post, "Getting the puck outta here..." really resonates with me.  In fact, up until a couple of weeks ago I was not sure I would be watching any hockey this year. The loss really hurt, but the way cup was lost and the "resulting" riot were the potential kill-shots.

The on ice officials sending players off the ice because of what they may have done...  Watching one of your star players taking several gloved punches to the face and getting a penalty for receiving.  It still hurts too much to go into all the details, but it sure seemed like the NHL and the Eastern media were all united in their opposition to the Cancuks.

I, like Spiral, do not think there is going to be any change.  Even so, when I took inventory, the positives, (mostly you guys), out weigh the negatives and I am all in for one more year.
